Skincare Routine/Products (Frequent)

Okay hey guys! This new post is kind of a continuation of the previous post, today I'm going to just list down the stuff that I use quite often, but not every single day.

1. Biore: Cleansing Nose Pore Pack, Black (once or twice a week)
I have been using this for ages, repurchasing it everytime I'm out because I can really see how many whiteheads that are pulled out and to imagine if I don't use it, my nose would be really disgusting. I've been through at least 10 packs of these (10 strip per pack). I prefer using the black because you can see the whiteheads as you pull them out so you KNOW your nose is getting cleansed and apparently it's stronger than the white. Love this! Just wish the facial strips would be available, so not only my nose is cleansed.

2. Neutrogena: Deep Clean Energizing Foaming Cleanser
I can only say WOW. When they say 'deep clean', they MEAN deep clean. I just recently bought this, about 2 weeks ago and it already stunned me on the first use. This was actually recommended by Cassandra, diamondsandheels14 on YouTube : http://m.youtube.com/index?&desktop_uri=%2F#/user/DiamondsAndHeels14 and she blabbered non stop about how good it is so I decided to try it, and I've fallen in love! This stuff has tiny microbeads that is not too harsh to be considered an exfoliant, but after washing off your face just feels squeaky clean. Definitely going to repurchase!

3. Kiehl's: Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque
Not too bad, I've been using this for quite awhile now, and although quite pricey, the amount in the large tub is so generous that is actually reasonable. It's not very thick, but after using for sometime it has hardened quite abit compared to when I first used it, making it less glide-on friendly. It does the job quite reasonably however; you can feel a very slight burn when it's hardening on your face and when its washed off, your face feels cleaner.

4. The Face Shop: Pore Care Pack Volcanic Wash Off Mask
This basically does the same thing as the Kiehl's one above, but in comparison, The Face Shop's one comes in a smaller tube, compared to the large tub of the Kiehl's, but the price is definitely lower too. The consistency however is much much smoother and applies better than the Kiehl's one, seeing that I've kept the two for almost the same amount of time, probably because this one isn't exposed to air as it is squeezed out from a tube. But there isn't so much of a burn and less of the 'clean' feeling after washing off, compared to the Kiehl's one, but I often alternate between the two, and I'm pretty happy with both.

I think this is about it for this post, it is actually partially incorrect as I have left this post for a LOOOONG time before completing it and posting, and the neutrogena cleanser has now become a daily cleanser for me. I shall update you guys soon about my daily products and such, but I won't be re-reviewing them of course! Look forward to more of my blog posts as I am VERY free nowadays. Thank you for reading!

Love,
Lyanne.

Skincare Routine/Products (Daily)

Hey guys! This is going to be my first post, and it's just a list of products that I use and my skincare routine, and just a simple review on each one. (: I'm also going to post another one about my makeup routine/products, so stay tuned! :)

1. NuTeen: Acne & Pimples Away Cleanser (every morning, night and shower, that's about 3 times a day)

This is only a current cleanser, it's not something I bought to try out, coz my mom normally buys all brands of cleansers and use everything. I can't say I don't like this cleanser, but it doesn't seem to be doing much for my acne, so I just use it to clean my face. :)

2. Clean and Clear: Essentials Oil-Controlling Toner ( morning and night daily)

I haven't tried many toners, and this is one toner which my mom buys regularly, and I actually do kind of like. Number one, because it gets off any excess powder or foundation that the wet wipes and makeup remover and cleanser couldn't get. Number two, it's kind of painful and stings when I apply it onto pimples that have been pressed or burst. ( because in some sadistic way, it feels like a product that stings the wound slightly will heal it faster)

3. The Body Shop: Tea Tree Blackhead Exfoliating Wash (night, daily)

This is one of my favourite exfoliators, and I've been using it for quite awhile now. I know that people say exfoliating too often is bad for you, and cause your skin to look dull, but I'd rather have my skin dull, and moisturize it back again, rather than my skin plagued by acne and pimples. I use this every night, and I don't know if it's because of my skin getting used to it and not working anymore, or my skin is already that smooth all the time, but it seems to be not doing that good a job compared to when I first started. It really made a difference and made my skin feel so much smoother.

4. NuTeen: All Clear Moisturizer(night, daily)

Can't comment much on this, just that it's supposed to help fight pimples but it isn't helping. When I put a moderate amount, my skin feels oilier than it should be, so I end up under moisturizing my face. This is just temporary, looking to get a water based hydrating gel moisturizer that I can put under makeup to mattify my face after I'm done with this tube.

5. Duac: Pimple Cream(night, daily)

This is neither a drugstore brand or high end brand, but it's really expensive. I got it from my local dermatologist, who put me on antibiotics/ pills whatever for 3 months last time when my acne was more serious. The pills really cleared up my face, and following that, I was told to constantly use this cream whether or not I had problem areas until acne stopped totally. I do BELIEVE that this cream helps me, but i can't really be sure.

I guess that's all I use daily, I'll be updating another one with my other stuff that I don't use so regularly. Hope you guys enjoyed this post! :)

Introduction

Hey guys, I haven't blogged in a REALLY REALLY long time and actually I decided to start blogging again because I recently started to get obsessed with my appearance and wanted to share updates on products with PEOPLE, but I don't like the idea of doing videos for it, cause decided my YouTube account was going to be for my music!

So in this blog I'll keep you guys posted on whatever skincare/makeup products I use, write reviews on products and also just basically let you guys know what works for me, and what I think about the product.

Hope you guys will enjoy it! :)

Loves,
Lyanne :)
